Sonagazi (Bengali: সোনাগাজি) is an Upazila of Feni District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Sonagazi is located at . It has 37184 units of house hold and total area 235.07 km².
It is situated in the southern part of the district, the only Upazila to have a coastline with the Bay of Bengal. Sonagazi is noted for its natural beauty, a sluice gate, known as "Muhuri Project", built in the late 1970s to control water flow of the Feni river is a popular tourist destination as well.
Noted literary figure Shahidullah Kaisar and film maker Zahir Raihan and Dr. Abul Kashem (Gold medalist by all India Homeopathic Society) hailed from Sonagazi.
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Sonagazi has a population of 215122. Males constitute are 49.8% of the population, and females 50.2%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 99050. Sonagazi has an average literacy rate of 32.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
